26 Priests of the Everyday
Priesthood is not a role, and certainly not a title.
It’s an identity, a calling, a purpose for living.
It is not something you do on Sunday.
It is who all the Saved ARE every day.
A Priest:
- watches
- listens
- intercedes
- confronts
- comforts
- carries burdens
- pulls people from darkness
- teaches truth
- speaks hope
- lives in holiness
- walks in the Light
- sees spiritual realities
- protects the weak
- restores the fallen
- tears down lies
- builds up courage
- walks with God
- sits with the lonely and the poor
Priests are not employees or joiners of a religious institution.
They are carriers of the Presence of God,radiating Zoe-life into every space they enter. Is that you?
If not, the Ecosystem will launch you on the way.
But, the System will give you, instead, a spiritual ink blot test to find out your “gift” and give you a job to keep you engaged.
The Ecosystem turns every believer into:
- a lifeguard
- a watchman
- a shepherd
- a warrior
- an ambassador
- a counselor
- a brother or sister
- a mother or father
- a protector
- a builder
- a conduit of the Living God
This is why weekly attendance Christianity is so deadly.
It takes those God commissioned to be priests—all Believers, as prophesied from Exodus to Revelation—and turns them into spectators.
The System says:
- “Sit.”
- “Listen.”
- “Simon says…”
- “Obey the clergy, and touch not God’s anointed” (a phony application of Scripture).
- “Participate within the program.”
- “Do not disrupt the decent and in order.”
Jesus says:
- “Rise.”
- “Drop your nets and leave your tax cubicle, and Follow Me.”
- “Walk with Me and My people daily. Do all your stuff, but care about My Presence in My People. You can’t have the Head, Me, without My Body. Don’t even try it. The pillar and foundation of Truth is my Together-Life in My Body, not your three pounds of goo between your ears.”
- “Speak truth.”
- “Heal the sick.”
- “Raise the dead.”
- “Cast out demons.”
- “Go into all the world.”
- “Be My priests.”
Priesthood is not optional.
It is Christianity.
And it happens in the middle of your everyday life:
- at work
- at school
- in your home
- with friends
- with strangers
- in your neighborhood
- during meals
- in conversations
- in conflict
- in repentance
- in joy
- in struggle
The Ecosystem lives everywhere because priests live everywhere.
And the world is starving for priests.
